Fingerprint recognition

From 2001 to 2006 I’ve been working in a startup company called ZEFYR Technologies. This company was developing and distributing biometric systems. I was in charge of the R&D activities related to fingerprint recognition and developed a patented fingerprint recognition algorithm (Perreira Da Silva, 2005).

Since this company does not exist anymore (since a long time) I’m releasing here, for pedagogical purpose, the source code and technical description of the fingerprint recognition algorithm developed at that time. Please note that this code should only be used for research or teaching.
